ADVANCED SURVIVAL SKILLS ARE EMPHASIZED THROUGH DYNAMIC DRILLS INVOLVING MOVING AND REACTIONARY TARGETS WITH VEHICLE TACTICS, INDIVIDUAL & TEAM APPROACHES AND MORE.

CHOOSE FROM ONE OF THE FOUR COURSES WE HAVE TO OFFER DEPENDING ON YOUR BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:

PERSONAL PROTECTION HANDGUN - A half - day orientation into the world of carrying and utilizing a handgun for personal security and defense.  This course will fulfill the Florida State requirements for a concealed carry weapon (CCW) permit.  Participants must bring a safe functioning handgun with an appropriate holster, eye and ear protection and 100 rounds of ammunition.  Cost = $75 (cost includes appropriate application and related information on applying for a CCW permit in the State of Florida and a certificate of completion).

PARTICIPANTS OF THE FOLLOWING COURSES MUST EITHER BE A MEMBER OF THE MILITARY, LAW ENFORCEMENT OR POSSES A CONCEALED CARRY WEAPON PERMIT.  CONTACT us for questions or details regarding these requirements.

DEFENSIVE HANDGUN - An intense one - day  program emphasizing mastery of the fundamentals of combat handgunning.  Course runs from approximately 0900 to 1700.  Each participant must bring a functioning handgun (revolver or semi-auto), eye and ear protection, a belt and a hip holster, at least one extra speedloader or  magazine and 500 rounds of ammunition (we can supply the ammunition at a nominal fee if necessary).  Cost = $ 150.00 and includes a certificate of completion.

INTERMEDIATE HANDGUN - A follow-up to the one day course that continues from approximately 1800 to 2100 covering survival tactics and night fighting.  The cost for this course that includes the combined day of "Defensive Handgun" training as well is $200.00 and includes certificates for both courses.  An additional 300 rounds is required for this portion of training.

ADVANCED HANDGUN OPERATOR - This course is conducted in conjunction with the Defensive and Intermediate Handgun courses and  begins on the second day.  The course is a venture into the world of high speed combat handgunning involving offensive and defensive drills that are part of every notable SpecOps and competition professional's tactical toolbox with down and dirty shooting drills, weapon retention, vehicle tactics and more.  This portion of training requires another 700 to 800 rounds of ammunition.  Cost = $150 and includes a separate certificate of completion.  A $50 discount is given to participants who take the Defensive, Intermediate and Advanced Handgun Operator courses together at a cost of $300.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

          * Properly functioning handgun (revolver or pistol)

            * At least two extra magazines or speedloaders

            * Primary side hip holster (drop-leg or tactical holsters are fine  - no shoulder rigs or crossdraw types)

            * 600 to 800 rounds of ammunition per day

            * Eye protection

            * Hearing protection

           * Appropriate carry equipment (duty gear - belt, holster, etc.)

           * Agency / Unit specific equipment (body armor, LBE, etc.)

           * Optional equipment such as rain gear, elbow and knee pads, flashlight, etc. are recommended
